We are pleased to announce that the 2009 Self and Identity Preconference will take place on Thursday, February 5th, prior to the SPSP Meeting in Tampa, Florida.  We have lined up an excellent set of speakers organized around the theme of exploring how the self matters in our lives.  

As part of the program, the winners of the ISSI Lifetime Career Award and ISSI Early Career Award will be honored and present their research.
